  3. The install program AND Grocery Manager REQUIRE that VBRUN200.DLL be in one of
  4. the directories in your path, your Windows directory, or your Windows System
  5. directory, or they won't run.
  6.  
  7. VBRUN200.DLL isn't included in this archive because many people already have
  8. it, it's big (357K), and it is very annoying to have a 357K file included that
  9. you already have. It can be found separately on many BBS'es, and it is
  10. available in library #16 of the WINADV forum on Compuserve as VBRUN2.ZIP.

  12. Be sure a copy of VBRUN200.DLL is in your path, your Windows directory, or
  13. your Windows System directory, then follow the instructions below:

  15. Requirements to run Grocery Manager for Windows
  16.  
  17. 1) Windows 3.x running Standard or Enhanced Mode
  18.  
  19. 2) 698K disk space available (341K if you already have a copy of VBRUN200.DLL).
  20.  
  21. 3) Minimum free memory in Windows to run GMW: 300K

  23. Installing Grocery Manager for Windows (GMW)
  24.  
  25. Automatic Installation
  26.  
  27. Unzip GMW104.ZIP onto a floppy or into an empty directory on your
  28. hard drive. While in Windows, start INSTALL.EXE. You will be presented
  29. with a default directory for GMW to be installed into. This can be
  30. changed to anything you want, but please keep GMW in its own
  31. directory. Check the box if you want a program group created
  32. for GMW, and then click on the start button. Click on the Exit
  33. button when the installation is complete, and then delete all files
  34. from the directory you unzipped GMW104.ZIP into.

  36. Files on the floppy that aren't transferred to your hard drive
  37. by the install program are:

  40. diskstat.dll
  41. file_id.diz
  42. install.exe
  43. install.inf
  44. packing.txt

  47. sysop.txt
  48. vendor.txt

  52. Place VBRUN200.DLL and VBISAMMX.DLL in any directory in your path, your
  53. Windows directory, or your Windows System directory. Create a directory
  54. for GMW, and place all remaining files, except the files on the above
  55. list, into this directory.

  57. GMW Sample Files and a Quick Tour of GMW
  58.  
  59. Included with GMW are some sample files so you can evaluate GMW
  60. without having to manually enter any data. These files are
  61. copied to your hard drive during the automatic installation. The
  62. sample files will enable you to see how Grocery Manager works.
  63.  
  64. Immediately after installing GMW, go to the View menu, and
  65. browse through the various screens to view. The sample files are
  66. set up so that you can view or printout a sample menu and
  67. shopping list without going through the usual steps to make one.
  68. Select Shopping List from the View menu. This is an example of
  69. what you would take to the grocery store. Select Menu from the
  70. View menu. This is a sample of a menu that shows what meals are
  71. planned on each day.

  73. When you get to the point that you want to enter your own data,
  74. you may either modify the existing data, or delete it and start
  75. over. To completely delete the data and start over, be sure that
  76. GMW isn't running, and go to the directory that GMW was
  77. installed in and delete all the data files by typing the
  78. following command at a DOS prompt: "Del *.IS?".
